Topic Description
Change is difficult. New research is beginning to explain why it's so difficult, and how it can happen more easily.  However, to achieve this we may need to rethink many accepted paradigms, as brain research is uncovering a series of suprprises about human functioning.

In 2004, David founded the brain-based approach to coaching, which has gathered momentum as a theory base for coaching. In collaboration with several leading neuroscientists, David is working to explain the neural basis of issues like self-awareness, reflection, insight and accountability.

NeuroLeadership is focusing on four domains that are emerging as the central organizing principles:

  1. Decision making and problem solving
  2. Staying cool under pressure
  3. Collaborating with others
  4. Facilitating change

Your effectiveness as a coach can be maximized if you incorporate the latest findings from neuroscience into your approach. David will help you understand how change occurs, and how to incorporate these findings into your coaching methodology to help clients accept and deal with change initiatives. Attendees will gain insights that can improve their own effectiveness and productivity as well as ways to help their clients.
